The Hygge is a modern small farmhouse plan at only 1678 square feet. This 1 story floor plan offers 3 bedrooms and an open floor plan. Stone accents frame the front door giving a bold and welcoming first impression. Inside the foyer offers benches and a closet so shoes and coats can be stored easily. Off the foyer is direct access to the attached 2 car garage. Along the opposite side of the foyer, a set of stairs leads down to the home's basement foundation. A long hallway leads from the foyer taking you past the laundry room that is tucked out of sight behind a sliding barn door bringing that farmhouse feel inside. Across from the laundry room is a short traversing hallway that leads to the Hygge's second bathroom and two additional bedrooms. The back of the floor plan is filled with the great room where kitchen, dining room, and living room are completely open creating a causal living area. The C-shaped kitchen is well appointed and offers a walk-in pantry and island with an eating bar. Decorative beams grace the living room ceiling providing some visual separation between it and the dining room. Off the dining room, a sliding glass door extends the space to the outside and the covered terrace. The master bedroom is nicely separated from the other bedrooms and is accessed off a private hallway right before walking into the kitchen. The master bedroom boasts a walk-in closet and private bathroom complete with a separate shower and soaking tub plus twin sinks.

What's Included in a Plan Set?
Artist's Rendering: An artist's drawing of the home, usually viewed from the front, and general construction notes.
Elevations: Shows the front, sides, and rear, including exterior materials, trim sizes, roof pitches, etc.
Main Floor Plan: Shows placement and dimensions of walls, doors, & windows. Includes the location of appliances, plumbing fixtures, beams, ceiling heights, etc.
Second Floor Plan (if any): Shows the second floor in the same detail as the main floor. Includes second floor framing and details.
Foundation Plan: Shows the location of all concrete footings, floor beams, first floor framing, and foundation details. If there is a basement, a basement plan is included which shows all basement details.
Floor Framing Plan (if any): Shows location and spacing of floor joists and supporting walls or beams.
Roof Framing Plan: Shows roof outlines, conventional framing/trusses, beams, roof framing details, etc.
Section & Details: Shows a cross-section of the home. Shows support members, exterior and interior materials, insulation, and foundation. Specific details such as fireplaces, stairways, decks, etc. are drawn at 1/2" = 1' scale, and appear as needed throughout the prints.
